- Applause!
-
- That's my feeling exactly!
- We have lots of customers who will use years to get all their client computers up on 32-bit platform. I
- cannot understand why Borland haven't made the same approach with Delphi 2.0 as with C++ 5.0, which can
- create DOS, 16-bit Windows and 32-bit Windows applications. It can even simulate most of the new 95 common
- controls in 16-bit applications. That is splendid for developers.
-
- I was somewhat annoyed by Visual Basic 4, where quite a few of the new "goodies" were only available in
- 32-bit, but at least there was a NEW product for 16-bit development.
-
- With Delphi 2.0, all you get for creating 16-bit apps is a bundled Delphi 1.0.
-
- I hope you fellow developers can raise your voice. I've already mailed my concerns to several people in
- Borland.
-
- I'm sure Tim Shea and I are not the only ones unable to develop for 32-bit only, so please, let's hear from
- the rest of you !!!!
